For the free version of Music Teacher you must have Microsoft Access 2003 or higher installed on your computer. The file is a 'zipped' format and must be unzipped prior to use. Simply create a folder under your "C:\Program Files" folder called 'Music Teacher'. Then copy or download the 'Music Teacher.zip' file into this new folder (C:\Program Files\Music Teacher) and unzip it. There are two files that are included in the application; Music Teacher.mdb and MTData.mdb. These files MUST be in the proper folder (above) for the application to work correctly. No support is offered for the free version but if you follow these directions you should have no problems getting the application to run. WizardWare applications are very easy to use. Just experiment and you should have no problems understanding how it all works. Hint: Double-click on your scheduled lessons in the Lesson Scheduler. You must create a business record, a teacher record and then your student records before the rest of the application works properly.
Click here to download the free version of Music Teacher. Next, click on 'Save". If you followed the above instructions prior to downloading the file, you can simply navigate to your "C:\Program Files\Music Teacher" folder and save the file there. You will then need to "extract" the files.
The free version of Music Teachers requires you to have Microsoft Access 2003 or greater installed on your computer. It is also limited to 5 students. The full version of Music Teacher will not require Access to be installed on your system as it will be packaged with a "run-time" version of Access. You will also not have a limit as to how many students but will be limited to a single teacher. Following the release of the full version of Music Teacher, WizardWare, Inc. will release the music store version with unlimited teachers and students.
